Compartmentalized by Feride Eralp

Because on a train at night you go
Nowhere
You perpetuate
Existence in now kind of lighting
So in the end I stop moving
I stop becoming
The rails shivering beneath me I am
a solitary compartment in vague space
The world stays because on a
train at night there is no movement
to rush out to no viewpoint in
the world only
a room of fluorescence and blue plastic
and a marine life sensation of time
floating without any flashes
Dis
connect me
from/to the next
and I don’t fall away because
the world seemingly outside merely
a reflection of myself of the
blue-world in here
Because in a train compartment at
night
windows don’t free you out, but
reflect the solitary compartment
millions and millions of
lives/times/places/eyes/sights/ in
dreams away into the same
me, I answer.
